Foundation for the Development of the Technical University of Szczecin
In 1990 the Minister of National Education established the "Foundation for the Development of the Technical University of Szczecin", which was then registered in the Court Register in Warsaw. In accordance with its Statute it functions in Poland as well as abroad. The seat of the Foundation is Szczecin.
The aims of the Foundation are: development of the University,
increasing the University's assets,
assistance in the training of personnel,
assistance in the application of modern teaching methods and scientific research.
The Foundation fulfills its statutory duties by:
carrying out commercial activity
accepting donations, bequests and legacies
organizing fund raising activities
collaborating with local and foreign universities, institutions and firms.
The Foundation's bank account is the Bank of Gdansk II branch in Szczecin Acct. no. 308005-5395-132-3. All donations, bequests and legacies as well as payments for specific purposes can be made to this account. The development of the Foundation depends on wide support for its aims and programme by persons interested in the further development of the oldest technical university in West Pomerania.
